Michael E. Jacobson is President of the Insurance and Financial Services firm of M. Jacobson & Associates in Boca Raton, Florida. His over 30 years of experience in the fields of Accounting, Banking and Financial Products and Services includes working primarily with Physicians, Surgeons and Business Executives.

Mr. Jacobson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst - Isenberg School of Management in 1983. He then spent 9 years as a loan officer with two of the largest banks in the country lending money to physicians for working capital, equipment and real estate purchases. In 1992 he identified a growing concern among young physicians that were transitioning from residency programs into business practice. He assisted them on setting up their practices as well as introducing them to other professionals who became key to their success. During that time he also became part of the curriculum in many specialties at Jackson Memorial Hospital, which is the largest teaching hospital in the United States. Jacobson was soon sought after by other area hospitals and became part of their practice management programs. He has been featured in many financial and medical magazines.

M. Jacobson & Associates is a completely independent, private financial service organization. M. Jacobson & Associates specializes in working with medical practitioners, with over 1,000 physicians as clients nationwide. Their areas of knowledge and experience include Asset Protection Strategies, Estate Planning, Pension and Retirement Planning as well as Disability and Life Insurance Plans.

Mr. Jacobson resides in Ocean Ridge, Florida, along with his wife Debbie and their three children. His personal time is spent visiting his grown children in the Northeast, summers in Maine, walking his two rescue dogs and bicycling as a member of the Boca Raton Bicycle Club. He also contributes his time and skills to the community as a member of several philanthropic organizations.
